Prism & Kettle is built as a self-contained static confectionery publication. You can explore every essay, botanical lollipop illustration, flavor pairing combination, and boil-stage formula without creating an account, signing up for a mailing list, or submitting personal details through web forms.
2. Information We Do Not Collect on the Website
Our pages intentionally omit interactive data-entry fields, account registration portals, payment checkouts, and third-party social widgets. Specifically, this website does not collect:
- Names, street addresses, telephone numbers, or payment credentials through web forms.
- Geolocation coordinates, microphone or camera permissions, or device behavioral profiles.
- Third-party font requests or external content-delivery scripts that broadcast your IP address to external asset servers.
3. Local Browser Storage & Technical Logs
To prevent our storage notice banner from reappearing on every page view after you close it, our client-side interface script records a single preference flag in your browser’s localStorage under the key pk_almanac_storage_ack_v4 with the value accepted. This flag stays strictly inside your own browser, contains no personal identifiers, is never transmitted over the network, and can be cleared at any time through your browser’s site-data settings.
Like any standard web host delivering HTML, CSS, and SVG files, the hosting web server may momentarily process routine HTTP request metadata (such as requested page path, timestamp, browser user-agent string, and IP address) solely to deliver pages reliably and defend against automated abuse.
4. Direct Email Correspondence
If you choose to write to our editors via your own email client at notes.prismkettle@gmail.com, we receive the email address and message contents you voluntarily send. We use that correspondence exclusively to reply to your culinary question or feedback and never sell, rent, or trade reader email addresses.
